Parc Hotel Flora was founded in 1900 as “Lake Mansion”, a true spring, summer and autumn residence for well-off Middle European regulars, who were fond of heliotherapy, healthy climate and food and of Doctor Von Hartungen’s therapies which used to take place on the shores of the lake, thus described by Thomas Mann:
“….in the morning I use to go rowing for several hours on the lake and especially at the beginning I feel a deep fascination… There is something extraordinarily touching  when, after a long troubled period, you find yourself sliding  again upon this sunny quietness, soothingly whispering and rippling, surrounded by stern mountains …..”
Over 100 years of history, bearing also the memory of the most famous guests on our Garda shore, Mann and Kafka, have led us to the present day. Time has changed some features, but hasn’t touched the elegance, care and  passion for our guests, which still transpire in our smile while we accompany them into a world of discretion and relaxing tranquillity.
Our Lounge Bar is perfect for a Spritz aperitif or an excellent Cappuccino on the Terrace or at the pool, our Ice Cream Shop for a bowl of ice cream, the best one ever!
In our small Reading room nice books and our tourist guides are always available. It is also ideal for small meetings.
